Should I replace my locks when I move in?
We recommend rekeying — it’s cheaper than replacing and disables every old key from the previous owner or tenants. Replacement makes sense if the existing locks are worn, low-quality, or you want to upgrade security.
What's the difference between rekey and replace?
Rekeying changes the internal pins so old keys no longer work, but keeps your existing lock hardware. Replacing swaps the whole lock unit. Rekey is faster and cheaper; replace makes sense for worn or substandard hardware.
Do you install smart locks?
Yes — keypad, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi locks from brands like Yale, Lockwood and Schlage. We’ll keep your existing key as a backup so you’re not locked out if batteries die.
What if I'm not sure if it's an emergency?
Most rekeys are 45–60 minutes for a 3-door home. Lock replacements take 30–45 minutes per door depending on hardware. We’ll give you an honest time estimate when we quote.
Do you offer a guarantee?
Yes — 12 months on all parts and workmanship. If anything fails or plays up within that time, we come back at no charge.
